Manor High School

Had some exciting news yesterday.  I have been told that our school has been shortlisted by a local company as one of its worthy causes for its volunteer programme.  This means that a team of 26 people will bring their skills and enthusiasm to assist in developing the garden and allotment over a three day period.  How fantastic would that be?!!?  We are one of three projects under consideration, so fingers crossed.

Meanwhile, we are busy planting seeds.  Got all kinds of vegetables germinating in the shed for planting out later in the month.  Started work on clearing the growing beds after winter.  Plenty of weeding and soil turning to keep us busy.  Looking forward to bumper crops this year.

Food For Life Partnership are putting on an event for teachers.  I've copied some details.below.
