Crawley Ridge Junior School

On Monday, we harvested onions, cabbages and broad beans. We took them into assembly to show the whole school what we had grown. Then we took them into the school kitchens so that it could all go into the school lunches.

The majority of the butterflies have now been released there are just a few left in some of the classes.

Today in environmental club, we have had a look at the vegetables that were planted at the weekend which included broccoli, spinach, spring onions, chillis, peppers, cucumbers and herbs. We are now going to sow some more seeds and these will go into the mini greenhouses to help them germinate. These will be crops that can be harvested in the Autumn term.
