We have already started to harvest what we have sown.  So far we have had beetroot, beans, courgettes – green and yellow, strawberries, broad beans, onions, garlic and four types of lettuce.  Although fresh produce leaves the polytunnel to head for the kitchen, it often doesn’t get there as we have discovered that peas and beans taste great raw, lettuce is sweet when freshly picked and there are never enough strawberries to make a full portion!
