Chilton Foliat Primary School

Our ‘growing project’ is progressing well with all 4 classes having planted and sown flowers and vegetables.

With the help of your resources we have successfully nurtured potatoes, tomatoes, sunflowers, leeks and carrots. The children are very proud of their produce and thoroughly enjoy watching their plants grow!

Our plan is to harvest our potatoes for our Harvest Festival service. Hopefully the children will also cook and taste their other produce as it becomes ready.

We are currently focusing on our school grounds and have planted a living Willow den and a memorial garden. We hope to continue to improve the existing gardens, pond area and grass areas  over the next term. We are soon to plant a Japanese crab apple tree in memory of one of our Foundation governors because we value the beauty and life that plants and trees give to us all.

Many, many thanks for all your support.
