With the winter arriving the children have been learning about habitats and how to create areas to encourage helpful insects and other animals into the garden area. Together they have made bee-boxes, blue tit nest boxes, and are now in the process of making bat boxes. This gives them both practical skills and teaches them about wildlife in the local area that will hopefully benefit from this project.
